TASTING NOTES
▪ Colour: A bright and clean wine, amber coloured with tones of topaz, and slight nuances of iodine.
▪ Bouquet: Presents great complexity and fineness to the nose, with a good conjunction between faint hints of aldehydes from its biological ageing, and notes of spices and elegant oak, reminders of vanilla and toasted almonds.
▪ Flavour: Dry in the attack, then enveloping the mouth in a sensational opening, with a slightly bitter after-taste; its finish is very long and gives a second opportunity to experience its initial aromas with great clarity and elegance.
GASTRONOMIC MATCHING
▪ Excellent as an aperitif and to accompany a tasty blue fish or an original meat terrine.

Baronesse Philipinne de Rothschild producerer denne fantastiske Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, der virkelig hæver sig et godt stykke over gennemsnittet. Et fantom-køb fra SUPER-kommunen Pauillac!
Vinen produceres overvejende på Cabernet Sauvignon (60 %), der er en helt klassisk druesort for området. Endvidere er der anvendt 30 % Merlot, 5 % Cabernet Franc og 5 % Petit Verdot.
En kraftig vin med bløde tanniner, stor krop, flot elegance med fylde og kraft i eftersmagen. Det er vine, i den kategori der har gjort Bordeaux til verdens mest anerkendte vinområde.
